The Social Media Manager leads the charge in sharing Kindness Unfolded’s heart and impact online. From crafting posts to building community, this role ensures our message is seen, heard, and felt across every platform. You’ll be the digital voice of our mission — turning letters, stories, and small moments into meaningful connection and growth.

🧠 Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with our nonprofit goals

  • Create and maintain a weekly content calendar across all active platforms

  • Align messaging with ongoing campaigns, programs, and community needs

✍️ Content Creation

  • Write engaging captions with a consistent, compassionate voice

  • Design graphics for posts, stories, and campaigns (using Canva or similar tools)

  • Capture and edit photos/videos from events, workshops, and submissions

  • Repurpose blog posts, testimonials, or course content into digestible social posts

  • Stay informed on current platform trends and algorithm shifts

💬 Community Engagement

  • Respond to comments, messages, and tags with care and consistency

  • Engage with followers and repost user-generated content when appropriate

  • Foster a welcoming online space that reflects our values of kindness, empathy, and inclusion

🎨 Creative Director

Bringing visual empathy and intentional design to every card we send.

The Creative Director helps shape the visual soul of Kindness Unfolded. From handwritten cards to campaign materials, they ensure everything we create reflects warmth, dignity, and care.This leadership role blends design vision, artistic guidance, and community inspiration — supporting both volunteers and the mission through thoughtful visuals.

🖌️ Design & Vision

  • Develop and uphold a consistent visual style for all cards and materials

  • Create card templates and sample designs to inspire volunteers

  • Maintain a cohesive, heartfelt aesthetic that reflects our mission

✂️ Creative Oversight

  • Review card submissions as needed to ensure quality and emotional impact

  • Lead seasonal or themed card campaigns (e.g., holidays, awareness months)

  • Coordinate with the Social Media Manager to align visual content across platforms

🧵 Volunteer Support & Inspiration

  • Offer design tips, prompts, and feedback to creative volunteers

  • Host occasional workshops or create recorded tutorials

  • Recommend card-making tools, supplies, and best practices

This role is perfect for someone with a passion for meaningful design, an eye for detail, and a heart for visual storytelling.

📋 Form Reviewer 

Support our intern experience by reviewing and verifying submissions with care.

💛 Role Summary

As an Internship Form Reviewer, you’ll help ensure our interns receive thoughtful, timely responses by reviewing submitted internship materials. This includes final reflections, honors submissions, hour logs, and completion checklists. You’ll act as a bridge between our interns and leadership — helping validate progress, offer light feedback, and keep everything moving smoothly.

🔹 Responsibilities

  • Review submitted internship forms bi-weekly

  • Verify completeness of required deliverables (reflection, hour log, honors submission, etc.)

  • Ensure hours and content align with internship expectations

  • Flag any missing or concerning submissions for staff follow-up

  • Approve and log verified completions

  • Provide positive notes or encouragement when appropriate

🛠️ Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Consistent, reliable communication

  • Comfortable using shared folders or form dashboards (Google Drive, Airtable, etc.)

  • Familiarity with Kindness Unfolded internships (or willingness to complete a short training)

⏳ Time Commitment

  • 1–2 hours per week (flexible)

  • Minimum 2-month commitment preferred

🤝 Outreach & Partnerships Coordinator

Building bridges, sharing stories, and expanding our circle of kindness.

The Outreach & Partnerships Coordinator strengthens our connection to the outside world — from partner organizations and volunteer groups to the heartfelt stories that keep our mission alive. This role blends communication, coordination, and collaboration to help Kindness Unfolded grow with intention and integrity.

📝 Tracking & Communication

  • Collect testimonials and impact stories from card recipients, volunteers, and partners

  • Maintain a growing archive of quotes, photos, and feedback for future use

  • Collaborate with the Creative Director and Social Media Manager to highlight stories online and across platforms

📢 Promotion & Collaboration

  • Promote group volunteer opportunities (schools, clubs, businesses, etc.)

  • Work alongside the Creative Director to develop materials for outreach campaigns

  • Support the Social Media Manager by sourcing real voices and content that demonstrate impact

  • Assist with outreach to potential partner organizations and kindness campaign collaborators
